Converse One Star Academy Hi Shoes
Serving as a standout piece in the new ‘Case Study’ pack from Converse, the One Star Academy Hi sits in a fresh white / fir / egret colourway. Housed in a hi top silhouette, premium leather has been used for the upper, with added perforations for increased ventilation throughout your skate. Stylised in egret, the vulcanised wrap cup rubber outsole is complete with a translucent tread pattern pulled from the corners of the Converse archive. For comfort and practicality the collar is slightly padded whilst double stitching is in place on the ollie area. Offering a unique, classic sportswear aesthetic, the reverse features a material stripe, accompanying the Chuck Taylor signature heel embellishment and fir coloured stitching adds a subtle contrast to the upper.
Hand selected by Converse skate team riders Sage Elsesser and Bobby De Keyzer, the ‘Case Study’ pack is a fitting way to end the brands 2019 collection. With a clean approach to silhouettes, materials and aesthetic, you’ve gotta cop yourself a pair.
